Todd Viola is a builder and tinkerer who earns a living making websites with Drupal.
Professionally, Todd specializes in creating websites using open-source content management systems (CMS) so that website owners can manage and operate their own sites. He assists clients with website strategy, web content management, new feature development, and ongoing website maintenance.
Todd has spent much of his career working on educational programs and applications. For ten years, he led the development of all Internet programming at the JASON Project, an organization that develops expedition-based science and math curricula. Todd designed and managed JASON's award-winning website, and served as the organization's first Director of Technology. His consulting clients have included the Sea Research Foundation and Ocean Exploration Trust, where he developed Nautilus Live which enables viewers to follow the research of Dr. Robert Ballard and his team aboard the Exploration Vessel (E/V) Nautilus.
Starting in 2007, Todd led the technical development of the NOAA Ocean Data Education Project which produced simple and intuitive web interfaces for teachers and students to access scientific data.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Yale University.
